Goldstone bags Axway deal

HYDERABAD: Goldstone Technologies has bagged an outsourcing deal for providing offshore-based technical support service to a France-based software product vendor, Axway. Goldstone, which has designed a solutions line for ISVs to provide product development and support services, has been providing technical support services to Axway for two products for over two years. According to a company press release, the French client has decided to expand on the existing outsourcing deal from October 2003 by adding three more products. Goldstone’s support for the three products is going live from Wednesday for the French client’s English language based customers, the release adds. According to the company’s Executive Director K Vasudeva Rao, the three new products added by Axway are in the banking, insurance and security sectors. With 70 employees in tech support services division, the company plans to ramp up the strength to 150 within six months. The Hyderabad firm expects to generate about $5 million revenue in the tech support outsourcing business in the next 12 months from its existing customers and a pipeline of customers, the release adds.
