Godrej signs accord for real estate development in TN

Mumbai: Construction firm Godrej said it along with its subsidiary Godrej Sea View (GSVPPL) has signed an agreement with Addison & Company for the real estate development in Tamil Nadu.
The 4.82 acre land is situated at Sembarambakkam village of Sriperumbudur Taluk in Tiruvallore district, Godrej said in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The Company, the real estate development arm of the Godrej Group, has also entered into supplementary agreement with HDFC PMS to transfer an additional 0.9 percent of the equity share capital of its subsidiary GSVPPL for 
10 crore, it said.
The company has signed the agreement with HDFC PMS, a real estate private equity fund, under HDFC Asset Management Company Portfolio Management Services Real Estate Portfolio-I, it said.
The company has recently announced opening bookings for the second phase of Godrej Frontier, its residential project in Gurgaon. The company had sold over 200 apartments, translating to over 480,000 sq.ft., in the 1st phase within 2 days of its launch on 23rd October this year.
Shares of the company closed at 590.30, marginally down from the previous close on the BSE.
