GVK Power posts 133 percent growth in net profit

Mumbai: GVK Power and Infrastructure Tuesday announced a consolidated net profit of $33.86 million (
1.35 billion) for 2007-08, compared to $14.5 million in the previous fiscal - a 133 percent increase.
The consolidated total income increased to $133 million for the year under review from $105.8 million in 2006-07.
The consolidated result has taken into account the performances of GVK Industries Ltd (Phase I), GVK Jaipur Expressway Pvt Ltd and Mumbai International Airport.
