GDA Tech ties up with BlackForest EDA

SAN JOSE, CA: Sillicon Vally-based IP and electronic design services (EDS) company, GDA Technologies Inc., has named BlackForest EDA as its representative in an effort to extend the reach of its sales channel throughout Central Europe. With this tie up, the rapidly growing GDA, which already boasts four design centers across the world, will feature sales representation in Europe, a growing market for GDA's business. Commenting on the partnership, GDA Technologies Vice-President of sales, Prashant Rangnekar said, “BlackForest EDA brings knowledge of the design services market, business, customer contacts, and local territory presence, which will help GDA service customers in the Central European territory.” This will enables GDA to be competitive in the global market with the benefits of cost-effective design and dedicated design center capabilities to European customers. BlackForest EDA’s General Manager, Juergen Kessler said, “We are very excited to represent GDA, given their expertise in full turnkey IC, IP, systems and software design, backend implementation, and physical verification.”
