Franklin Jones President of Intel India

BANGALORE: Intel veteran Franklin Jones has been appointed as the new President of Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd replacing Ketan Sampat who will be taking up a new role in the company in the U.S. Effective October, Frank will be responsible for managing the company’s relationships with the Government both at the center and local levels, government concerns, site management, education initiative, and university engagements in India. Jones will also oversee the research activities at Intel India Development Center in Bangalore. Jones joined Intel in 1990 and has held several positions in the manufacturing and management space. He is currently vice president of finance and enterprise services and director of supply network capability for Intel Corporation.
