Forex reserves rise a tad to $89.3 billion

MUMBAI: India's foreign exchange reserves rose to $89.327 billion on September 26 from $88.556 billion a week earlier, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said in its weekly statistical supplement on Saturday. The central bank said the foreign currency assets expressed in US dollar terms included the effect of appreciation or depreciation of other currencies such as the euro, pound sterling and yen held in its reserves.
