Force Computers names T.S. Ushasri MD

BANGALORE: Force Computers India Pvt. Ltd., the Bangalore based India Design Center of Force Computers Inc. has announced the appointment of T.S.Ushasri as Managing Director. Ushasri will be responsible for the overall management and growth of Force India operations. She brings to Force more than two decades of experience in IT having worked in various leadership positions in companies such as Digital GlobalSoft , Wipro Technologies, ALIT, NIIT and BHEL. Her special competency is in growing and managing new technology initiatives from ground zero. Most recently, she was Chief Technology Officer and Head of Advance Technology Group of Digital GlobalSoft Ltd, a subsidiary of HP. She headed the company’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG) and drove strategic technology initiatives and incubated new technology practices in mobility,.Net and web services, Enterprise Integration, security etc. and drove key programs such as application architecture, Linux and knowledge management. Ushasri was actively involved in the IP initiatives of the Company and was responsible for two product acquisitions for Digital. In her earlier role, as Vice President (Enterprise Application Services) at Wipro Technologies, she established the ERP/CRM/SCM business division. In her prior roles, she had created and nurtured many technology/consulting groups. Her experience includes significant business development within and outside India. Ushasri is a B Tech in Electrical Engineering (University Gold Medallist) and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. She is a senior member of IEEE.
