2. Use technology

No doubt that personal habits and practices can be very effective in time management, but technology can also be yet another weapon in serving the same. There are several ways a busy executive can make technology more effective for his or her own use. For instance, Microsoft Outlook with Business Contact Manager can be very useful for you in organizing your contacts, with quick and easy access.
3. Leave your work at work

When you go home after your working hours, focus on your family. There is very little that will be that much of an emergency that it can't wait until the next morning. Taking your works at home creates tension and makes you stressful even if you are lying on your bed at home, which will ultimately affect your family as well. Leave work at work.

hi all, I need your help to understand these points. All five point are helpful but not for everybody specially for me. Time management is great tool for students, salaried person, businessmen etc. But what happens when you get short deadlines or you get work when you about to leave for home. I am working in a studio where we get short deadlines always. We work day and night for my company. somethimes we work for 2 or 3 days without sleep. Then these points have no more meaning.

the best lines which solves & improves our life , if we start this everything will be lined up.
By tracking your daily activities, you get to know how did you spend whole day and with such a practice of properly analyzing and scheduling, you can design your day according to your work load to manage your professional and social life better.

The same is being told for a long time. There is no universal definition of work-life balance. If your work cherish you and you love to do that then there will be no question in your mind. It all will be balanced automatically. Do whatever interests, tempts, and cherish you most. And you will see there is no tiredness. And, you need not to maintain a balance explicitly.

Sir
All suggested five ways to streamline the work load are no doubt effective tools but assuming one universal fact that all have equal 24 hrs one can get help from YOGA/PRANAYAM. By just practicing PRANAYAM for 30 min a day one can increase working efficiency and save a lot of time on account of reduced sickness. One can easily learn these throughout the country(thanks to Baba Ramdev ji)and if still any help is required Pl contact me.

Normally we dont have a option to choose our work. Whatever is given has to be done. There is nothing much that can be done about the parameters mentioned in the article.

The core element is being focused and disciplined to help you effectively strike a work-life balance.I think this is the prime reason when things do not work at my end.
