Five more Indian IT firms in Finland

BANGALORE: Five more Indian IT companies will set up operations in Finland to tap the huge Baltic and Scandinavian countries. Almost all the five big Indian IT companies including Wipro and TCS are present in Finland. Finland is looking at India to forge partnership with Indian firms by offering its strategic location to tap the North European markets and the potential of its software market worth $5.1 billion. It also aims to enhance its strength in hardware in different fields like telecom, medical electronics and meteorological sectors. Finland has analyzed 200 Indian companies and identified about 50 that could do business with them as the country is a gateway to Russia, Baltic and Scandinavian countries.
