FirstApex launches Europe operations

BANGALORE: India based First Apex Friday announced the formation of FirstApex Europe Limited, that addresses the business and technology challenges facing European Insurers. FirstApex Europe has set out a '3S Strategy - of Support, Supplement and Substitute'. With the capability of off-shore resources allied to market specific knowledge FirstApex Europe offers Insurers support propositions that will dramatically cut the cost of maintaining legacy applications and IT infrastructure. With the ever-changing business needs of Insurers, FirstApex Europe has a series of 'Supplementary' software components that integrate with and extend the functionality of existing applications in key areas such as claims and supply chain management, channel management, data warehousing and first notice of loss. Finally, FirstApex Europe has the ability to 'Substitute' back office systems in both the General Insurance, Life Assurance and Health Insurance markets, based upon new technologies, yet able to run on established platforms such as AS400, the company claimed.
