Bangalore: Fiorano Software, provider of enterprise class business process integration and messaging infrastructure technology, released FioranoMQ 9.1.1, the latest version of its enterprise communication backbone, which the company claims is the fastest standalone standards-based messaging server. According to Fiorano, the optimizations in the client-runtime and at the server level result in better performance, both, for non-persistent messages and for persistent messages with durable subscribers. Peak performances can now exceed 95,000 messages per second for publish or subscribe messaging in closed benchmark testing. The Silicon Valley based company says the performance optimizations significantly improve server scalability in comparison with previous releases, making Fiorano on average four times faster than TIBCO and between fifteen and twenty times faster than IBM's Java Message Service (JMS) offering for non-persistent messages. For persistent messages, Fiorano claims that its performance is three to seven times faster than TIBCO and five to twenty times faster than IBM. With all of this added performance, Fiorano aims to continue delivering low JMS latency numbers. FioranoMQ 9.1.1 performs with latencies between five and 20 milliseconds.
