FatPipe's Sanchaita receives YWCA Outstanding Achievement Award

FatPipe's Sanchaita receives YWCA Outstanding Achievement Award
Salt Lake City: Sanchaita Datta, Co-founder of FatPipe Networks, patents holder of Wide Area Network (WAN) optimization, redundancy and security products, has been awarded the 2009 YWCA's Outstanding Achievement Award in the business and industry category. Sanchaita, who is also the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of the company, is one of the five women in the state of Utah to receive this award. Sanchaita accepted the award at the YWCA's 21st Annual 'LeaderLuncheon' in Salt Lake City. "We are proud to honor Sanchaita for her outstanding accomplishments in the field of business and industry, and for her commitment to strengthening the lives of women and girls here and abroad," said Anne Burkholder, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the YWCA Salt Lake City. Sanchaita and her husband, Ragula Bhaskar, who is the CEO, are the Co-Founders of FatPipe. The company claims to have invented router-clustering technology, which provides a solution for companies that require reliable Internet or other WAN connections for the deployment of mission critical web applications for business. Sanchaita and Bhaskar own seven patents to date, and more patents are pending. In the past, Sanchaita has been recognized with other honors as well including being the first recipient of the 2008 Women Tech Awards, winning the coveted Technology Innovator Award, presented by Utah's Women Tech Council and the MWCN. She was a recipient of Connect Magazine's 2006 Reader's Choice Award, "25 People Who Most Influenced Business in Utah." Sanchaita was also selected as one of Utah's top female executives by Utah Business magazine and being listed in the 30 Women to Watch, and she was awarded the Woman Innovator Award by the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce in 2001.
