Facebook Turning Out to be Google?

# Advertising on Facebook: When it comes to getting to know real people, Facebook leads the line over Google which uses the unspecified cookies for advertisements.

Lorry Destainville, head of product development at Glow Digital Media and a global provider of Facebook technology solutions says, "Most advertising networks know very little about their users, making it very difficult for them to place effective Ad units.”

“This is where Facebook excels - by using its knowledge of user identity, it has fundamentally redefined Ad targeting, enabling relevant Ads to be delivered to users as they scroll uninterrupted through their newsfeed," he further added.

# Google dominates the mobile Ad revenues over Facebook: Google is far more dominant on mobile ad revenues with the video, display and in-app ads and many more. Adding to this, Google also owns Android and it makes money on the app downloads too. Apparently, according to the reports on the internet market research company ‘eMarketer’, Google gets 47 percent of the mobile ads revenues where Facebook earns about 22 percent on it.
