F5 forays into India with application networking

NEW DELHI: US based F5 Networks – an application traffic management company has announced its entry into the Indian market. “Today there is a huge demand for highly available and secure application delivery. We see this as the most perfect time to bring our solutions into a vibrant country like India,” informed, Dan Matte, F5's Global Senior Vice President, marketing. The company plans on bringing the entire portfolio of products and solutions to India – including Big-IP, FirePass, TrafficShield and iControl. “These are some of our best recognized products when it comes to providing security, scalability and performance for our customers. These products are designed to integrate multiple capabilities on a single, platform – maximizing responsiveness, and increasing overall business agility,” he added. “This is an exciting time to be in India. Outsourcing and offshoring have already made India an important hub of IT activity on a global perspective. There is a huge demand for secure and accelerated application delivery and we have the right solutions to meet this demand. Trends leaning towards SOA, grid and utility computing, will make sophisticated network intelligence and optimized application delivery even more critical to business success,” Matte added.
