Everonn bags 91.87 Crore order from Govt. of Uttar Pradesh

Bangalore: Everonn Systems India which provides technology-enabled learning and training solutions, has bagged an order worth 91.87 crore from the State Government of Uttar Pradesh. As per the details of the same, Everonn Systems will provide computer education and computer-enabled education for students in 1099 schools in the State, spread across four zones - Varanasi, Illahabad, Faizabad and Agra. The order, based on the Build-Operate-Own-Transfer (BOOT) model, is for a period of five years. The project will see supply of hardware, software, teachers-training modules and maintenance regime. Everonn Systems with this contract increases its presence to close to 1500 schools in the State. Everonn Systems will reach out to over 6, 60, 000 students across the 1099 schools, between Std. VI and Std. XII, with the new order win. With this, Everonn Systems expands its presence to over 5500 schools under the ICT division across India. P Kishore, Managing Director, Everonn Systems India, said, "Given that our focus is on enabling access to education for all, it is extremely heartening when State Governments partner with us, to provide computer-based education in the schools in their respective States. We are extremely honoured to partner the Directorate of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, for this turnkey project." The stock of the company touched a high of 371, after opening at 351. The counter has clocked a volume of 287,800 shares as compared to its two-week average quantity of 287,676 shares.
