Event for the software test and QA community to kick off

Bangalore: The testing community today, and test managers in particular, are facing a number of new problems such as increasing complexity, ever-increasing demands to reduce time-to-market & the need for testers to take on more varied roles in the organization. Keeping this in mind, SiliconIndia is organizing Software Testing Conference (SoftTec 2010), a leading event for the Software Test and QA Community on July 3, 2010 (Saturday) in Bangalore. This is a must-attend event for testing professionals and leaders. SoftTeC 2010's agenda reflects the challenges organizations face today in order to address different testing projects. The Test Leadership track will focus on managing testers and the software test areas of the product lifecycle. You will learn techniques for working effectively in a leadership role with test and non-test teams, and the differences between being a manager and being a leader.
In the Test Professional track there would be sessions on: Application Security Testing,Testing of Virtual Environments, Cloud Testing, Protocol Testing,Avionics Testing,Mobile/Infotainment Apps testing and Compliance based testing in banking/financial sector. Topics in the Test Leadership track would comprise of: Leadership Lessons for the Test & QA Profession, Creating a high performance Testing & QA Team, The Business Case for Test Automation, Software Test Metrics / QA metrics, Test Strategy and Test Planning, Improving Test competency and using Real-World Agile Practices on Your Testing Project.
