Euclid opens development centre in Hyderabad

NEW DELHI: IT firm Euclid Inc announced the opening of its state-of-the-art product development centre in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The 14,500 sq. ft. facility was inaugurated by Satyam Computer Services chairman Ramalinga Raju, a company press release said here. "The Indian IT industry, which has already demonstrated its expertise in the software services sector, now needs to focus on software product development. The future lies in this sector," he said. Euclid, which raised $4.5 million in January, invested about $1 million in the new facility. "The investment in our India development centre will be used to expand operations and increase the superior talent pool that is working on an enterprise class product. India plays a pivotal role in the growth of Euclid and will be the hub of our product development work," said Patty Azzarello, president and CEO of Euclid Inc. "In India, we have about 50 employees, and we plan to bring more talent in product development and product implementation in the next four to six months," Manoj Tiwari, director of operation, Euclid India said.
