Enterasys taps Santullo to head worldwide sales

ANDOVER: Enterasys Networks Inc. (NYSE:ETS), Thursday announced the appointment of Cosmo P. Santullo as executive vice president of worldwide sales and service. Santullo will begin work immediately and will be based in Andover, MA. "With the addition of Cos Santullo, we continue to make progress against our goal of exiting 2003 with a strong leadership team and comprehensive strategy to compete more effectively in the broad enterprise data networking market," said William K. O'Brien, chief executive officer of Enterasys Networks. "Cos has an impressive background with industry leading companies and his extensive domestic and international sales, business development and management experience make him a great addition to Enterasys." Mark Aslett, president of Enterasys stated, "As we continue to launch significant new products and solutions, Cos will play an integral role in improving our sales execution, completing the transition of our sales and service organization, expanding our customer base, and working with key partners." Santullo has extensive experience in delivering technology solutions to meet the business needs of large enterprise customers. He spent almost 20 years with IBM, where he held senior sales management positions, including: Vice President & General Manager of IBM's North American Personal Systems Group (PSG); General Manager of IBM's Process Industries in the Asia Pacific Region; and Vice President of Marketing, Global Services. Santullo then joined EMC Corporation where he served as president of EMC e-Business Solutions, and Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. Santullo was most recently the president, chief executive officer and a director at Sonicwall, Inc. "Enterasys' integrated, solutions-based strategy and strong portfolio of new products provide a great opportunity," stated Santullo. Santullo holds a B.S.E from Princeton University.
