Lucknow: In yet another incident which heralded an unruly style of political parties fulfilling their need in a forceful manner, Manoj Gupta, an Engineer working in Public Work Department is reportedly killed by supporters of Shekhar Tiwari, a BSP MLA in Uttar Pradesh for not giving money to the fund of Chief Minister Mayawati's birthday celebrations, an NDTV report says.

Manoj Gupta was attacked by Tiwari's supporters in the Auraiyya district, Uttar Pradesh. The family of the killed engineer said that the MLA's men were trying to extort money from him for the CM's birthday celebration taking place on January 15.

"Two unidentified men entered our house in Gail Vihar in Dibiyapur forcibly on Thursday night and beat my husband by locking him in bathroom," said Gupta's wife. Later, Shekhar Tiwari, the MLA in question, reached home and left the seriously injured engineer at a nearby police station, from where he was rushed to the hospital.

1: Is it really important to celebrate Mayavathi's birthday by killing a person. What the hell will they get it by doing that.I don't understand how can she think that she can become PM of this country.

2: It is a shame that such a tragic incident has happened. Those responsible for the Engineer’s death should be brought to justice.

Professional organizations like Indian Institute of Engineers needs to get involved and take appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents from happening.

This is an outrage and Engineers nationwide should speak and act against it.

3: This is very very shame for all of us.....
especially for the politicians who are encouraging their followers in this kind of activities...
some serious actions should be taken palce against them and there must be some hard acts to be introduced in the system to punish people like them

4: Will we get to see some justice being done in this case? Or should we continue to simply ignore such cases mutely & go on with our lives?

5: HELLO

AM NOT A SUPPORTER OF ANY PARTY , BUT PWD ENGINEERS AND CONTRACTORS ( HERE IN QUESTION THE NETA) HAVE A NEXUS AND IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG IN THIS RELATIONSHIP GENERALLY THE WARTH FALLS ON ENGINEER. THIS TAKES PLACE IN THE FORM OF ACCIDENTS/ BEATING, TRANSFER OR DEATH. WHAT HAS MAYAWATI GOT TO DO WITH THIS - SHE MAY EVEN NOT BE AWARE OF SOME ONE GOING TO ENGINEER TO COLLECT THE MONEY. AS USUAL THE MEDIA ALWAYS PLAYS WITH NEWS. LETS HAVE A SYSTEM TO CHECK MEDIA ALSO , ITS GETTING OUT OF HANDS NOW RGDS AHMAD

7: It is an example of unbelievavle "terrorism" by our own people, what to speak of Pakis? Mayavati's funeral procession should take place instead of her birthday.

8: Only in India can freedom of expression and human rights can be so blatantly violated. We really need to clean the country of all thugs, gunda, and corrupt people. Maybe, the government should institute public panchayat type of justice with caning and stripped naked and forcefully made to wear stolen stuff around the neck.

9: It is sad that when an inoocent person protects himself/herself by attacking the attacker they will go to jail directly, but well known acts like these go unaccounted. Shame on Mayawati. Shame on the indian political system. Shame on the top chiefs of the Indian Police, who cannot step up an intervene. And lastly, shame on the media in other states who are not restricted to make this a big issue.

11: Like share holders of Sathyam Computers reacted towards its recent acquisition of Maytas, similarly some system should be brought in to bring down such notorious politicians from their post and thereby save people.

13: what the hell is this..who vote such kind of persons...and this lady what to become PM of the country..what the hell...now we have to do some things to stop such kind terrorists living with in the country..

14: Difference between Bandicoot Mayavati and the captured terrorist.

1. Captured terrorist is imported. Mayavati is indigenously manufactured
2. Captured terrorist has fought for some country. Mayavati to fill her bank balance
3. Captured terrorist has been brain washed. Mayavati acts are deliberate
4. Captured terrorist is brave and fought alone. Mayavati has a group of bandicoots.
5. Captured terrorist has regrets for what he has done. Mayavati will never.

can write lots more. But whats the use. We Indians condemn Mayavati's act and request all the media to burn this issue for the next 10 days to force Mayavati to resign.

15: It's very said to say... that our country is also in the hands of some terrorists....some of our politicians are using their position only to fill their bank accounts .. they doesn't have mean with common man ..what is it mayawati ji?... is it look good for you... what will you do this lots of money which you will take from murdering any person ? are not you a murderer ?

if we are in a democratic country , you should be in jail for doing such type of crimes.
