Encover names Subhash Bhatia Vice President

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA: Encover Inc., a provider of technology and services that help manufacturers maximize revenue from service contracts has appointed Subhash Bhatia as vice president of technology. Bhatia has over 20 years of technology leadership experience and has published papers on network protocols, computer communications, database technology and engineering management. He is a certified information systems security professional. Before joining Encover, Bhatia was vice president and chief technology officer at TradeBeam SupplySolution, an On Demand software service focused on global trade and supply chain management. Previously, Bhatia served as vice president of engineering and chief technology officer for SiteBurst and InfoseekGo.com, and held senior management positions at Oracle and Informix. Bhatia has also held technical positions at Amdahl, IBM Canada and Bell Northern Research (Nortel) in Ottawa, Canada. Bhatia holds an MS in engineering management from Santa Clara University and an M.Sc in electrical engineering from Queen's University, Canada. Bhatia will manage Encover's engineering, quality assurance, technical support and information technology operations teams in California and India.
