Emily Shah First Runner-Up in Teen World Pageant
Fremont: The Hilton Post Oak in Houston hosted the "Teen World Competition2012". This gave nearly 30 contestants from all over the globe an opportunity to grab the title. Representing India, Emily Anila Shah was named the first runner-up out of nearly 30 contestants on 5 August 2011. Gabriele Marinho from Brazil was crowned the winner of the title. This 16 year old Indian American from Edison High School in New Jersey, has been actively involved in dancing and photography as well as other pageants. Last year Shah was given the title of Miss Teen New Jersey-World and later went on to becoming Miss Teen India-World. Shah competed with the other 30 contestants in swimsuit and evening gown competitions as well as a panel-style interview with the judges.
