Economy growing at 7.5% in '05-06

NEW DELHI: The government expects the economy to grow between 7.0-7.5 percent in the year to March 2006 due to buoyant industrial output, a finance ministry document said Wednesday.
"Based on the strong fundamentals of the economy, the growth during the current year is expected to be around 7.0-7.5 percent," the document said.
The economy, Asia's third largest, grew 6.9 percent in the previous year, mainly due to strong manufacturing and services sector growth.
