EDS will Shift Jobs to India

Bangalore: The largest supplier of IT Services to the UK government Electronic Data Systems (EDS) is all set to offshore thousands of jobs to India and to four other countries from its Texas office next year. The other countries on the radar are China, Argentina, Hungary and Poland. As a part of the EDS Global Restructuring Plan, the staff strength in the above-mentioned countries would double to over 13,500. The bulk of the jobs would be in the domain of IT applications and user support.
