Taiwan: With its annual theme, 'Green Touch, Good Life', Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), a Taiwan-based electronics firm, is going to display its series of power efficient motherboards at Computex Taipei 2010 in Taiwan. The exhibition is scheduled to start on June 1 and it will end on June 5. The R & D team of ECS is undertaking the process of utilizing the power efficient Deep Green Technology into the whole production process of motherboards. This technology is expected to reduce power consumption to 0.001W when systems are in soft-off mode. After implementation of the Deep Green Technology, each motherboard will reduce 1.161 kilogram carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in a year. It will help mitigate climate changes. Green concepts have been implementing by ECS in various areas like product design, purchasing, production, sales, services, and recycling with all manufacturing processes.
