Dr. Raghuram promoted to VP Engineering, Berkeley Design Automation

California: Berkeley Design Automation Inc., provider of Precision Circuit Analysis technology, announced the promotion of Dr. Raj Raghuram to the position of vice president of engineering. Raghuram was an original member of the company's development team and also led the core simulation engine development. He will now lead the overall team, which has domain expertise in circuit simulation and analysis. "Raghuram has been a key contributor and leader at BDA since its inception," said Ravi Subramanian, CEO at Berkeley Design Automation. "He has the leadership skills and vision required to lead our development team, which delivers innovative analog/RF circuit simulation technology." Raghuram joined Berkeley Design Automation in 2003, where he has been an architect and leader of the core simulation engine development team. Co-founder of Applied Simulation Technology, a circuit analysis software provider, he worked for 12 years as assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering department at IIT, Kanpur. The author of 'Computer Simulation of Electronic Circuits,' Raghuram completed B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, followed by M.S. and Ph.D. in the same from Stanford University.
