BANGALORE: Digital Harbor Inc., a provider of a Composite Applications platform, today announced the opening of a new office in Bangalore, India. The Indian office will support Digital Harbor's efforts as it grows and strengthens its position in the evolving Composite Applications industry. "Digital Harbor is experiencing rapid year over year growth through our unique end to end solution for Composite Applications and our plans are to continue to expand that growth globally. The Indian office represents a key component of that global expansion strategy and thus is not a resource/replacement center. We plan to grow the Indian office to over 100 people shortly," said Rohit Agarwal, CEO, Digital Harbor. The Bangalore office will focus on developing new vertical solutions for Digital Harbor's innovative Composite Applications platform for Manufacturing, Healthcare, Utilities and Financial Services: industries that are often prone to multiple disparate data sources, environmental pressures and legal mandates that require a new and innovative approach to information integration through building of dynamic, interactive composite applications. The vertical solutions will support Digital Harbor's entry into the commercial space to complement its strong customer base in the US Federal Government, US Intelligence and US Department of Defense communities that have been it's customers since the company's inception in 1997. "Composite Applications will only increase in prevalence as a means for organizations to leverage existing assets through a new approach to integration that focuses less on physical movement of data and more on aggregating information in the context of its use. We look forward to working with the global team to help roll out innovative new solutions to the market", added Ashish Agarwal, Managing Director, Digital Harbor India. Headquartered in Virginia with offices in Provo, UT and Bangalore, India, Digital Harbor develops and markets PiiE, a platform for Composite Applications. Digital Harbor is privately held, profitable and has raised $10M of funding from Insight Partners.
