Digital Bridges names Krishna Gidwani VP Corp Dev

SAN MATEO: Mobile gaming company Digital Bridges Ltd., which goes by the brand name I-play, has named Krishna Gidwani as its vice president of corporate development. In his new post, Gidwani will be responsible for directing the company's fund-raising and mergers and acquisitions. He will be based in the British company's U.S. headquarters, in San Mateo, CA, according to a Digital Bridges press release. However, he is expected to develop partnership strategies in various markets, such as India. Digital Bridges has its global headquarters in London and has other offices in locations such as France, Singapore and Scotland. Before joining Digital Bridges, Gidwani was a principal at Celerity Partners, a California-based private equity firm where he focused on investments in media and technology. Prior to that, he worked with ONSET Ventures, focusing on corporate software and information technology investments. Gidwani began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York, where he advised on and executed mergers, acquisitions, and debt and equity offerings.
