Digi Giga's gigabyte optical devices for India

MUMBAI: Digi Giga Systems Ltd, a joint venture company of D-Link India and Gigabyte Technologies, has expanded its product range beyond motherboards and graphic cards and has introduced a wide range of world class Gigabyte Optical Devices for the Indian market. The range of Optical Devices launched are - CD Writer (R5232A), a Combo Drive (B5232A), a DVD Rom Drive (D1600A) and DVD Dual (WO808A). Rajan Sharma, Product Manager – Digi Giga Systems said, "The market for PCs in India is growing steadily and the popularity of Optical Devices as a peripheral and as a secondary storage device is catching on. We intend to leverage on our product quality, service support and channel strength to capitalize on the potential that this market offers.” He added, “We have been successfully manufacturing and marketing Gigabyte motherboards and VGA Cards in India and within a span of two years we have captured a significant market share. We plan to repeat the same for Optical Devices.” Gigabyte ranks among the world leaders in the design, development and manufacture of high quality computer hardware products and these Optical Devices are one of the quality products from Gigabyte. Digi Giga Systems will provide the best of facilities like local delivery and RMA facilities all over India to the satisfaction of consumers and will use its existing strong nationwide distribution network of 17 branches, 21 distributors, 325 dealers and 3,600 resellers to market the optical devices.
