Dexterity to set up new facility in Chennai

Chennai: Dexterity Business Firm, a BPO firm in market research space, is all set to invest 17-18 crore to start up a new facility in Chennai. This is to accommodate the employees it would hire in the next couple of years, and also reflects the growing demand for our-sourced market research services. Pravin Shekar, Chief Executive , Dexterity said the new centre, its second in the city , would span 70,000 sq ft and would be ready by the time it approaches the college campuses for students passing out over 800 seats. The company employs 260 people at present and expects to take the headcount to 500 people by December this year. “We have been growing at 100 percent a year during the last three years. The potential is even bigger,” Mr. Palnivel Kuppuswamy, executive chairman, Dexterity said. The company gets 45 percent of its revenues from Europe, 30 percent from U.S and the rest from Asia Pacific region. While this composition might not change much in the coming years, the company expects the underlying growth to be driven by emerging markets.
