DesignTech Systems bags Nairobi's Coptic Hospital contract
Bangalore: After installing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, Asclepius, a comprehensive hospital management system in various hospitals across India, DesignTech Systems has bagged the contract to install this solution in Nairobi's Coptic hospital. The project to be installed in May will be DesignTech?s first international project. Vikas Khanvelkar, Managing Director DesignTech Systems said "We have received an order from Coptic hospital in Nairobi to install the ERP solution developed by our healthcare team." Coptic hospital is a 250-bed specialty hospital. The ERP will also be installed in the two small clinical units run by the group. In Asclepius, all processes are incorporated in the 42-module software, whether it is the patient's registration, blood bank details or billing procedures. It not only provides all the data, but also configures and executes workflows. On bagging the international contract, Sachin Chougule, Director, DesignTech Systems said, "We could win over the competition because we were able to deliver state-of-the-art technology. Not only were we able to deliver performance but also make sure to protect customer's cost of ownership for years to come." DesignTech Systems is a product lifecycle management, engineering design firm and healthcare solution provider which started its healthcare division in 2002. The company is now in talks with leading hospitals in other African countries for the same project.
