Delhi based RT Outsourcing raises $15 Million

Bangalore: Delhi-based RT Outsourcing, a provider of Technical Support and Reverse Logistics services has raised an amount of 65-75 Crore ($13-$15 Million) from U.S.- based global venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA). The amount raised will aid in the company's plans to open a global repair plant in Chennai and foray into e-waste management. "With this investment we will be expanding our services lines and geographic spread through organic and inorganic means. We would now look at expanding to Tier II, Tier III cities with our service centers," RT Outsourcing Managing Director Shammi Moza said. The firm, which was formed in 1995, also provides technical support and BPO services. For e-waste services, the company is in discussions for a joint venture with a leading global player, the name of which is not revealed. "RT Outsourcing is expecting revenues in the vicinity of 200 crore in FY10," Rahul Gupta, Director of RT Outsourcing said. Though Moza declined to comment on the exact amount of stakes diluted in the deal, yet he confirmed the size of equity diluted is more than 10 percent. The company has earlier raised 31 crore in 2007 from Motilal Oswal Venture Capital and an undisclosed amount from Sonoma Management Partners.
