Daksh posts $29.12 M in 2002-03

NEW DELHI: Daksh eServices, a leading Indian BPO company has recorded revenues of US $ 29.12 million its third year of operations, achieving a 62 % increase over its revenues of US $17.95 million last year. In addition to announcement on the financial results, Daksh today announced the opening of its fourth facility in Malad, Mumbai. Gurgaon. Presently, two clients will be serviced out of Daksh's Mumbai facility, these clients are from Banking, Finance & Insurance and Retail verticals. The company has grown both vertically in terms of revenue and horizontally in terms of employee strength. With the current strength of 3200+ people, Daksh plans to touch a head count of 4500 people by end of FY 2003-04. "2002-2003 has been a year of qualitative growth and strategic initiatives for us, enabling a strong financial fiscal. We further deepened our vertical strength by adding Insurance and Hi-Technology to our portfolio," said Sanjeev Aggarwal, CEO, Daksh e-Services. He further added, "our expansion across cities provides us with significant enhanced capabilities and an opportunity to comprehensively address our end to end, multi-city business continuity planning requirements. The worldwide market holds even more potential, and the trust our customers hold in us helps us leverage our expertise to the fullest." Commenting on the company's performance this year, Shantanu Rudra, Chief Finance Officer, Daksh e-Services said, "There was a strong focus on optimizing the revenue and cost structures at Daksh which enabled the company to record its 3(superscript: rd) successive year of profit". Indian company, Daksh, a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Services, has opened its first London office with the support of BTeLocations, British Telecommunications Plc’s inward investment unit. The office, to be based in Cannon Street in London, will be the basis of Daksh’s marketing activities, as it seeks to diversify its revenue base outside the United States (US). In addition to helping Daksh find an appropriate location, BTeLocations has also supported Daksh with the provision of co-location services, including a switch and international private circuits between the UK and India and the United Kingdom (UK) and US. Daksh offers a range of integrated customer care services including the taking of inbound calls and emails on customer service and technical support, outbound collections and telemarketing support, knowledge management, Customer Relationship Management architecture and other value added services, such as customer feedback programs and data analysis & reporting.
