Chennai: India's rich and celebrities will soon get an exclusive matrimony site. Consim Info Pvt Ltd, formerly known as BharatMatrimony group, Monday said it will launch a millionaire matrimony site, www.elitematrimony.com, which would help the "elite" sections find suitable matches. "The elite, who want to select suitable matches for their wards or for themselves, are willing to pay for special services. It is this segment we would like to cater to with our new offering," Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and chief executive of Consim Info, told IANS. According to him, the rich and famous would generally hide their true status and identity and then search for a suitable boy or girl in a commoner matrimony site. "On the other hand, if the matrimony portal is exclusive for the elite, then they would be more open about their identity and preferences," Janakiraman said. He added that those who "qualify to marry an elite member of the society" can also join the club. Those who are "professionally qualified and well-placed in services are the ones who qualify to marry rich and famous", he explained. Unlike the company's other matrimony site www.bharatmatrimony.com, membership to the elite club is only through invitation and prior vetting by Consim Info. According to Janakiraman, people who want to become members have to prove their "credentials" and also their networth. "Once we are satisfied as to a prospect's credentials, then he or she will have to pay a fee of 100,000 (valid for six months). We will then send a formal invitation after which a person is admitted as a member," he said. He hopes to enrol around 100 members per month through which the company can earn 10 million (1 crore). Each member will have an exclusive relationship manager to provide special services. According to the company, the four broad classifications of elite are: businessmen/industrialists, high networth individuals (professionals, people in service), civil servants and celebrities (cine actors, sports personalities, artists and others). "A person is considered to belong to the elite club only if his or her networth is 100 million (10 crore). In the case of upcoming sports persons or artists, we will base our decision depending on their potential," Janakiraman remarked. Consim Info will promote this concept through online as well as offline media.
