Congress MPs demand a bill for creation of Telangana state

Hyderabad: Congress MPs from Telangana today urged the union government to introduce a bill in Parliament in the budget session facilitating creation of separate Telangana state. All the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs of the party from the region who met here today in a joint letter sent to Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee stressed the urgent need for the tabling of the bill."We will not accept anything less than a separate Telangana", G Vivek, MP from Peddapalli in Karimnagar district told media persons. The meeting was also attended by some state ministers from Telangana region.
