Bangalore: - The Communic Asia fair took place this year between 21- 24 June at Marina bay sounds in Singapore. There were more than 56,000 industry visitors, conference speakers and delegates including the exhibiting staff and media around the world to attend the trade fair. The launch of gadgets like Huwei’s media Pad and Nokia captured the show The other technology highlight was NFC (Near Field Communication). Nokia, ZTE and several others announced various phones and accessories with NFC capability, while the visitors attending the trade fair were given demos on NFC for coupons, ticketing, payments as well as music playback. NTT Docomo also highlighted the usage of reinforced reality in various simple games by using the tablet at their counter. Nokia declared its new flagship MeeGo device .whereas Sony Ericsson declared its new Xperia phones and smart accessories for Xperia owners. The entry-level QWERTY phone targeted at the young generation was launched by Sony Ericsson. The crowed gathered at the Blackberry's demo area, to have a glance and feel the PlayBook tablet and the upcoming Bold Touch 9900 smartphone. The showcasing done by Huawei and ZTE flashed the limelight to the exponentially growing Android tablet segment. The most interesting declaration from the show was LG, Samsung and HTC that were missing in the operation.
