BANGALORE: The sensational murder of a 33 year-old call center employee, second in the last six months, captured a different angle as her colleague was arrested in connection. The body of Tanya Banerjee, native of West Bengal, who was working with Aviva-24/7, was found with nearly 25 injuries, "mainly stab wounds", on a highway near Sakleshpur in Hassan district on Wednesday. Confessing to the crime, 27-year-old Gururaj Kishore, a city based call center employee had joined last month before serving another company the same time as Tanya, Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Bipin Gopalakrishna said in Bangalore. The incident brought back horrific memories of a murder involving another call center employee. 24-year-old Pratibha Murthy was allegedly raped and murdered by the driver of a car leased by her employers in Bangalore in December 2005.
