Coke in deal with Shah Rukh Khan's IPL team

New Delhi: Soft drink major Coca Cola has entered into a sponsorship deal with Shah Rukh Khan-owned team Kolkata Knight Riders for the upcoming Indian Premier league, just days after the Pepsi, another major soft drink player removed Khan as its brand ambassador. Announcing the deal especially for IPL, the team's Director Joy Bhattacharya said that the deal will include using the Coke's logo as well as promoting their brand. Information about the size of the contract is unknown. Though Pepsi has terminated its contract with Khan, the company revealed that it is currently in discussion with Khan to take the relationship to a new phase.
