Cognizant signs deal with U.S. based Harris Corporation
Chennai: IT service provider Cognizant announced that it has signed an agreement with the $5-billion communications company Harris Corporation for providing software development services. Under the agreement, Cognizant would provide software development services of media management software products for advertising agencies, television stations, broadcast and cable networks, the company said. "At a time when digitization is driving a significant change in broadcast media, Cognizant will work closely with Harris to help its customers realize the full promise of new technologies and processes," said Cognizant President and CEO Francisco D'Souza. Cognizant would work closely with Harris on leading-edge research and development for new products. Cognizant currently has 50 global delivery centers and has more than 78,400 employees.
