Cognizant provides strong mid-quarter update

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (Nasdaq:CTSH), announced today a continuing strong quarter and revised its guidance upwards for the quarter ending June 30, 2003.
TEANECK: The provider of information technology (IT) services said it expects to report revenue of $84-86 million and earnings per share of $0.18-0.19, compared with its previous guidance of expected revenue and EPS of at least $82 million and $0.17, respectively.
The company is optimistic about growth prospects for the remainder of 2003 and 2004. Cognizant also anticipates that operating margins will remain stable.
The announcement was made at the 14th annual Bear Stearns Technology Conference held today at the Grand Hyatt New York Hotel.
