Centum Learning to invest 100 Crore in education

Mumbai: Bharti Group's associate company, Centum Learning is going to invest 100 crore into development of skills and education in the next three years, reports Shubhra Tandon of Business Line. The investments will support spreading the reach of Centum U, the company's newly launched management and creative skill training institutes, according to Sanjeev Duggal, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Centum Learning. Bharti Group has five campuses in New Delhi, Mumbai, Mohali, Pune and Hyderabad. The company also has planned to have eight more by end of financial year 2013, said Duggal. In association with institutes like University of London and National University of Singapore, Centum U will offer three year undergraduate and two year post graduate degree programmes in economics, finance and business management. Apart from this, management courses geared towards media and entertainment industry will also be offered by Centum U. All these courses would be offered in association with filmmaker Subhash Ghai's creative arts institute, Whistling Woods International. The fee for all programmes will be between 2-3 lakhs per year.
