Capco appoints Gopi Chelliah Executive VP

BANGALORE: Capco, a provider of integrated consulting, processing services and products for the financial services industry has appointed Gopi Chelliah as Partner and Executive Vice President, Business Process Outsourcing and Sourcing Development.
Based in London, Chelliah will also serve as a key member of Capcos Executive Management Committee and the Capco Transformation client services team. He will be responsible for growing and managing the delivery of all IT and Business Process Sourcing services for Capco, including Capco India.
Chelliah earlier was the Managing Director, CIO Cross Business Technology and Operations, Deutsche Bank. He managed technology and operations functions across investment and retail banking including Risk, Finance, Compliance, Human Resources IT, Enterprise-wide Architecture, Operations Control and Reference Data.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Chelliah held various positions in the banking industry for more than 15 years. , having led operations and technology functions at a global level with other industry leaders including UBS and CSFB.
