Canara Bank cuts prime lending rate again

Bangalore: State-run Canara Bank on Wednesday slashed its benchmark prime lending rate by 25 basis points or 0.25 percent.
The Bangalore-based bank said in a statement here that its prime lending rate (PLR) would be 12.75 percent from Feb 25.
The latest reduction comes a fortnight after the bank reduced its PLR to 13 percent from 13.25 percent.
