Cambridge Solutions sets up Pune delivery centre

Bangalore: Cambridge Solutions, an IT, knowledge-based ITO and BPO firm, has announced the expansion of its Indian operations with the setting up of a new SAP facility in Pune. The facility which will augment the work being done by Cambridge Solutions in Bangalore and Chennai, will employ 100 skilled resources with plans to grow up significantly in the coming years. "The Pune Centre will further strengthen our global delivery model and add greater value to our customers," said Kumar Sivaraman, Chief Operating Officer, ITO Division, Cambridge Solutions. "The Centre will meet requirements of the manufacturing & logistics and emerging markets." "We are excited about growing our operations in Pune," said Hemant Agrawal, President & CEO, Nexplicit, USA. "Pune has an abundance of educational institutions and a depth of talent which we hope to tap into. We will invest in training and development to ensure our employees meet the most stringent customer service standards." The initial focus of the Development Centre operating under the name of Nexplicit Infotech (a Cambridge Solutions company) will be on offshore ITO clients and would extend to BPO clients as the business evolves. The centre will offer implementation of packaged applications comprising of PLM, SAP and Lotus Notes. These services will include development, customization, maintenance and 24x7 support.
