Cadd Solutions bags BHEL order

BANGALORE: Cadd Solutions' announced Wednesday that its WRENCH suite of collaborative engineering solutions has bagged an order from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) for their Hydro Generator division at Bhopal.
The company has decided to use WRENCH for this division as well owing to the success of the prior implementation at Hydro Turbine division, which helped tremendously in increasing the productivity. Other BHEL divisions at Bangalore and Haridwar have already implemented WRENCH, the company claimed.
Commenting over the success of the implementation of WRENCH at their plant, S. Chandrasekharan, Deputy General Manager, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Bangalore said, "WRENCH has an exhaustive knowledge base of processes unique to any Engineering sector. We have benefits extensively with their solution."
The solutions offered using WRENCH are Product Development Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management, Configuration Management, Engineering Information Management, Project Management, Drawing and document management and integration of engineering data with ERP/MRP systems.
