HYDERABAD: Computer Services Corporation (CSC), a leading global IT services company, Wednesday announced the setting up of a facility in this southern city. The state-of-the-art all purpose centre over 60,000 sq. ft. at Hitec City will be CSC's fifth in the country and the first in south India. The company has three centres in Noida and one in Indore. CSC CEO Arun K. Maheshwari told said at a news conference the centre was expected to be operational by the first quarter of next fiscal year and the company planned to recruit 500 professionals in the next six months. He said CSC had not yet worked out the investment to be made in the centre. "We will spend whatever investment is required. For a company which has an equity of $4.6 billion, investing a few million dollars will not be a problem," he said, adding that the investment would be made from the surplus generated within India. The company has so far invested $15-20 million in its India operations. Earlier known as PMSC, the company in India is growing at 70 percent for the last two years and hopes to grow by 100 percent in the next fiscal. It presently has 1,200 employees in India.
