CSC'S Noida Center assessed at SEI-CMM Level 5

NEW DELHI: Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE:CSC) today announced that its NOIDA, India centre was assessed at Maturity Level 5 of Software Capability Maturity Model for "all software maintenance and enhancement activities (excluding Software Subcontract Management) executed and managed from CSC India, NOIDA." The assessment was led by SEI authorized lead assessor Rajesh Naik of QAI India Ltd. CSC India, is an offshore subsidiary of CSC and provides innovative customized IT solutions to clients by combining cutting edge technologies with domain expertise in the financial services sector including Property & Casualty Insurance, Life Insurance, Banking and Healthcare Industries. It has grown at 72% for the last two calendar years and is forecasted to grow even faster in the next two years making it one of the fastest growing IT services companies in the country. CSC in India operates out of its state-of-the-art development centres in NOIDA and Indore, both of which are now at CMM Level 5. "At CSC India, quality is an endless journey and attaining of CMM Level 5 for our centre in NOIDA, within a few months of achieving it for our centre in Indore, is a reflection of our commitment to quality. As we expand, we will strive to get the Level 5 rating for each of our new centres within 12 months. In addition to CMM, we are now pursuing other quality initiatives such as People-CMM and Six Sigma.
