CONSEG-2011: Largest conference on Software Engineering @ Bangalore

Bangalore: Due to the enhanced use of software in all areas, the importance of developing high quality software within the committed time is increasing every day, but Software Engineers are are yet to answer quite a number of questions. Witnessing this need, the Computer Society of India will organize the International Conference on Software Engineering CONSEG 2011 from February 17th to 19th at Chancery Pavillion in Bangalore, which will be inaugurated by the NASSCOM Chief, Som Mittal. The conference aims at finding answers to all aspects of software engineering which impacts the quality of processes and products. CONSEG 2011 will witness global experts from the academia and the industry brainstorm on the theme 'Software Quality- The Road Ahead'. The speakers consist of Alain Abran, Professor, University of Quebec, Kishore S Trivedi Professor, Duke University, Bill Curtis, SVP, CAST, Dan Galorath, CEO of Galorath Incorporated, Murali Chemuturi, Author and Consultant, Murray Cantor, Distinguished Engineer, IBM, Ram Chillarege, Chillarege Inc., Richard Mark Soley, CEO, OMG and Neelesh Kamkolkar, Microsoft India Development Center. Some of these eminent software specialists would conduct five tutorials and also present some of the contributed as well as invited papers. In the context of software engineering, software quality measures how well software is designed (Quality of design), and how well the software conforms to that design (Quality of conformance).
