CMC Q2 net down 25.39%

BANGALORE:CMC, the IT solutions provider reported a 25.39 percent drop in second quarter at $2.3 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, as compared to $3.2 million for the same quarter last financial year.
Total revenue increased 11.6 percent to $44 million from $40.2 million in Q2-05, the Hyderabad-based company informed the BSE.
CMC, a part of the Tata group, has reported consolidated profit of $2.27 million for the second quarter against $3.6 million in the previous year. Total revenue grew to Rs $47 million.
