CII to showcase India in U.S.

NEW DELHI: To further boost bilateral economic ties with the U.S., the Confederation of Indian Industries would organize a series of road shows, `IndiaConnect-U.S.A', from April 8-18.
The road shows are expected to be attended by the Finance Minister, P Chidambaram, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, EVKS Elangovan, Science and Technology Minister, Kapil Sibal besides CII President, Sunil K Munjal and Secretaries of the Ministries of Commerce and Finance.
The road shows would showcase the export potential of various sectors and would serve as a brand building exercise, CII said. 'IndiaConnect-USA' would begin at Seattle and travel across to San Fransisco, Chicago, New York and Washington.
