CGS to expand n India

BANGALORE: Computer Generated Solutions, a New York based technology solutions provider has plans to invest $15 million to expand its India operations this year. The company, which reaps revenues of over 800 crore a year, has plans to train about 500 people and help them deal with areas such as application and implementation services. Michael Wilding, senior Vice-President of CGS said that the company, which is already operational in Hyderabad and Bangalore, has plans to fortify its operations at the Hyderabad center for its global development and support-related services. For this, it has gone ahead and enrolled the services of consultants for its plans on acquisition in India. The company has taken a fine move in not moving jobs from U.S. but creating employment pools in the country itself. CGS would be pumping in revenue for building infrastructure, human resources and technology development work as well. Apart from enterprising services like telecom, financial services, communication and entertainment, CGS has a guidance position providing solutions for fashion empires like Versace, Marc Jacobs, Pepe Jeans, Malibu with its enterprise, Blue Cherry. The company’s hub would continue to remain North American market and a considerable fraction of the work in India would be aimed at areas like application development, human resource management and eLearning solutions.
